Answer: Producer
Describe the main purpose of your music, what are you trying to accomplish?
Answer: Music has always been a big part of my life, I love making music and sharing it with people, working with people and helping others make better music.
How do you make your music and how do people get to listen to it?
Answer: I use programs such a FL Studio, Reaper and Sony Acid Pro 7 to name a few.
What style of music do you make the most?
Answer: Probably dance/hip hop, looking to make some rock tracks. Making quite alot of remixes of rock tracks.
What really annoys you about music today?
Answer: People who make the same thing over and over again just eating off other people’s music.
Share your 5 best music making tips?
Answer:
1. Spend as much time as needed on each track
2. Practice makes perfect
3. Do something you like, if you don’t like it then you wont give it 100%
4. Share your music with a few friends and ask for feedback before making a final copy to release.
5. Try not to copy anything that’s already done.
What would you never want to do with your music?
Answer: Nothing really. I’m doing this music as a personal thing but wouldn’t mind making it major.
Did you start making music for the purpose of making money and if so, are you making enough money?
Answer: No I never started it for the money but I’m getting enough to keep my sites/hosting running.
How long have you been making music?
Answer: Since 2007
About how many hours per day do you spend making music?
Answer: As much as a I can, I usualy start at least 1 track a day then when I have time I finish them.
What promotional techniques work best for you and why?
Answer: Posting where you can without spamming. Social network sites are good such as myspace, but you really need your own website to have a core for your fan base. Also share your music with friends and people in the real world rather than all online.
What mistakes have you made that you could warn others about?
Answer: Don’t release anything until it’s 100% and you know you wont change it after. Once it’s out it’s hard to get it back. And don’t take on too many projects at once.
